From the Bride… When Joe and I first got engaged, I was admittedly a little daunted by the task of planning a wedding. My best friend had gotten married a few years prior and I was intimately involved with helping her, so I knew generally what to do, but worrying about the specifics and making sure that each detail was accounted for so that I could “relax” and “just enjoy” the day itself was not a small task. As it turned out, things were easier when I stopped thinking and just let my instinct and personality take over. Yes there were decisions to be made, and yes those decisions were occasionally stressful, but once I decided to have fun with the planning as well as with the actual wedding – I did. I wanted the look to be earthy and ethereal with some more traditional elements woven in. The result was better than I could have ever imagined, and it will forever be crystallized as one of the most beautiful, unforgettable, and most importantly fun days of our lives.
